A near mint Leica IIIf Red Dial Self Timer camera body SN. 1954 and Leitz Summitar S. 903739 5cm 1:2 lens c. 1951, last year of production before replaced with Summicron lens.

The camera is in near mint and fine working condition. All shutter speeds sound correct, including the slow speeds. Shutter curtains in great condition. Shutter release is soft and quiet.

The viewfinder is bright and clear. Rangefinder double image is crisp and well-defined. The vulkanite body covering is completely intact, without any chips and cracks.

The lens optics are crystal-clear, without any scratches, fungus or separation, just a small area of light haze near the rear element, not visible with the naked eye. Lens comes with original cap. Overall a superb precision camera in great condition.
