The camera has the stepped R/A lever. The viewfinder and rangefinder windows are very clear. The camera will need a service.
The red shutter blind is very clean, but the 2nd (black) rubberized curtain has some peeling and the camera cannot be fully cocked. (I have never had this serviced and I would not want to remove the red curtain). The camera has no dents or chips in the vulcanite. The overall appearance of the body is quite nice with a few brightmarks. The lens is a 5cm f/3.5 Elmar. This lens is coated and made in 1945. There is some haze around the outer rim of the glass.
The lens has no dents or brassing and the bezel is nice and flat. The diaphragm and focus work smoothly. No oil on the blades. A lens cap is included. This camera has been factory modified to use the Leica E. Leitz New York SELIS Model VIII-A Synchronized Flash Unit. The baseplate number is 503507. This is complete in the original box (one end flap of the box is missing). Overall the condition is very nice. The battery chamber looks clean. I do not see corrosion. 5 (or 6) blue flash bulb and a connecting cable from the flash to the baseplate are included. You also get the original instructions for the flash dated 3/50. I will include a Canon take up spool. I have never used or tested this flash or camera. It was always a display piece for me. No standard baseplate is included, but any baseplate plate for a IIIc could be used if you wanted to separate the camera from the flash.
