Leica I Model A serial no 342! Converted to II + 5cm 13.5 Elmar lens

Very early Leica camera that was a subject to complete factory conversion, probably made in the early 30s, from a first production run I (with Elmax-lens) to a first type II. This very early, three-digit serial number Leica camera comes with worn nickel fittings and missing collar around shutter release.

There is some brassing and wear to bottom plate. Shutter fires and sounds accurate, rangefinder works and seems correct. Lens with obvious signs of use to barrel, a bit hazy inside, with small cleaning marks to front.

Aperture is very stiff, but still fully functional. The whole set is fitted in a case that is worn and re-stitched, but still does the job.
