Legendary LEICA Red Scale Elmar 50mm 3.5 Lens LTM L39 w/Caps Very Clean 1956. This is a legendary lens: extremely tiny, yet extremely sharp. The Red Scale Elmars are considered to be the best version of this lens with superior optics. The lens on offer here is in near MINT condition showing only light signs of use with a little bracing around the aperture lever (see photos above).

Focus is smooth and the aperture blades move freely. Lens extends and locks cleanly.

The lens glass has no fungus, scratches or separation visible: just the odd fleck of dust. Comes complete with original metal caps.
