Excellent 1954 Midland ELC Leica iiif red dial timer serial 729444 film tested

Leica Midland iiif red dial with timer in excellent condition. Camera made in Midland per serial number cross referenced to Leica records (despite Wetzler marking) and includes Midland spool. Camera has been film tested and works properly. Shutter curtain is in excellent condition without pinholes or other issues. Shutter speed tested at one second and appears to be close (basic recommend test method to confirm other speeds are within reason).

All other controls work smoothly without sticking. Viewfinder is clear and has good contrast. Exterior of camera is in good condition. Leatherette has been repaired where a small section was missing at the slow speed dial, but is barely perceivable.

Hairline crack exists under front viewfinder window, but you would probably wouldn't notice it unless it is pointed out in certain lighting conditions. Very small piece of leatherette missing at lug mount and bottom latch on side by rewind lever. Beautiful camera ready for use or display in your collection.
