1932 LEICA II CAMERA BODY Very Early 76376 LEATHER LEICA CASE
Here is an early 1932 LEICA II 35mm camera body - a revolutionary and advanced camera that captured the market at the time and helped insure Leica's place in the history of photography. The serial number is 76376. The camera has perfect Vulcanite pebbled covering and it is beautiful - the metal parts are somewhat grayed with age patina. The camera has not been serviced - as found, it fires, the shutter works, the rangefinder is functional but a bit dull and the viewfinder is a little hazy. The camera is usable but could surely do with a CLA. The original leather LEICA case is solid with no teats, good strap and closure. More than just a pretty picture.
