LEICA HEKTOR 2.8cm 28mm f6.3 Post War C Lens f22+New York SOOHN Hood+TUVOO+More. This is a very complete and very rare Leica Hector 28mm f6.3 lens set. The lens is the harder to find Post War f22 coated version made in 1950. Only around 1300 of these seem to have been made. Serial number of this lens is 791082.

It comes with the extremely hard to find SOOHN hood- and the hood included here is the even rarer New York Leitz version. The set is completed with a UV filter, and the VIOOH finder with he TUVOO accessory 28mm lens. All in excellent functional condition.

The original bakelite case for the Hektor lens, both metal lens caps and a plastic case for the UV filter are also included. The lens itself is in very good condition showing only a few light marks, Glass is clean and clear, focus is smooth, aperture blades move freely. The SOOHN New York Leitz hood is also very good: there are a few marks at the edge of the ring but overall the paint is excellent. The view through the finder is clean and clear- and the TUVOO 28mm accessory is very good. You will be able to find cheaper Hektor 2.8cm lenses- but it will be very hard to find such a complete set- Post war with new york hood. Ideal set for the serious collector.
